Specialized Substance Abuse Programs

Many Veterans and First Responders experience difficulty processing the many situations that they go through. Some manage these symptoms by self-medication through the use of drugs or drinking. While Alcohol Addiction, Benzodiazepine Addiction, and Prescription Drug Abuse statistics continue to rise, Sobriety is possible. While Recovery from Substance Abuse does take time, the process is worth it. Often affecting life factors, such as relationships, finances, physical and mental health, continued addiction only gets worse over time. In order to get life moving on the right track, Detox is normally essential to find the root causes that lead to addiction in the first place.

Offering DetoxMedication Assisted TreatmentResidential Treatment, and Extended Care, our Veterans Rehabs and Detox Center use the latest in therapy techniques to treat the root causes of substance abuse. Through the use of Relapse Prevention, Mindfulness Techniques, Group Therapy, and One on One Therapy, Substance abuse doesn’t need to rule your life any longer.

Sex Addiction

Many symptoms of sex addiction — including loss of control and disregard for risks and consequences — are very similar to those of traditional addictions.

Technology Addiction

Research presented at the 2014 annual meeting of the American Psychiatric Association seemed to support the idea of Internet addiction by showing changes in the brain identified by neuroimaging.

Shopping Addiction

Identified as an impulse control disorder, Studies show that compulsive shopping can result in big problems, both financially and personally. Treatment for a shopping addiction usually involves counseling and behavioral therapy.

Trauma Addiction

Trauma Addiction and Risky Behaviors can be quite dangerous.  While they may not be considered physical addictions, they do share many of the psychological and social hallmarks — and they will respond well to traditional types of addiction treatment.
