Our Programs
Residential Treatment
Residential treatment programs are programs in which patients, having completed detox transitions into live-in Treatment Centers. This structured environment is designed for patients to work with a therapist and receive medical assistance for the ultimate purpose of achieving long-lasting recovery. At Veterans Care Resorts, we plan individualized care of each Veteran to meet their specific and unique needs.
We also offer Extended Care programs for those needing a little more time. Extended Care programs are available at 3, 6, and 9 months. Our staff works with insurance companies to get you the length of treatment that is suitable for you and your mental health needs. We take multiple factors into account: participation, client motivation, the amount of time a Veteran is willing to put into their recovery, among others.
Our inpatient treatment program uses services such as:
Implementing these services into our Nationwide Detox Centers and Rehabs treatment programs, our clients create a foundation that support them long after they leave. While they learn Coping Skills for Anxiety and participate in EMDR Therapy for PTSD, Veterans learn how to build healthy relationships and cope with life.
What to Expect From A Residential Treatment Program
While staying at our Veterans Rehab treatment facility, Veterans participate in therapy and counseling throughout the day. This gives them an opportunity to bond with people who are going through similar experiences. The support of peers is one of the most critical aspects of recovery. That is why attending meetings and group therapy is always incorporated into our programs along with one-on-one therapy. Discussing emotions with others is a challenge for those struggling with mental illness and/or addiction.
At our Veterans Rehab Treatment Centers, Veterans learn to be open at all times and practice being honest with the people around them. Spending time in treatment centers allows them to get used to new behavior and habits. With Residential Treatment, people with addiction can practice their sobriety skills and cope with stress in healthier ways.
Veterans Care Resorts offers an effective Residential Treatment Program. Living in this environment gives Veterans time off from the stress of their own lives so that they can put all their effort into recovering from an addiction. Offering treatment in Laguna Beach, Palm Springs, and multiple other locations, our program is proven to work for those that need to free themselves of the dangerous cycle caused by substance abuse.

Services Our Residential Treatment Program Utilize...
Medication Assisted Treatment
Medication Assisted Treatment is the use of medications with therapy to provide a complete approach to treatment of substance use disorders. This treatment is clinically effective and significantly reduces the risk of relapse in clients with addiction issues. With specifically tailored programs of medication and behavioral therapy, Recovery is possible.
Withdrawal Management
Withdrawal symptoms last long after the alcohol or drugs have left the body’s system. Determining how long these symptoms will remain depends on the substance and how long it was used for. Clients who complete detox but don’t transition into an inpatient rehab are more likely to relapse due to lingering withdrawal symptoms. Remaining in treatment will increase the chance of a successful recovery.
Individual and Group Therapy
Individual and group therapy are forms of psychotherapy where a therapist will work with a patient in a one-on-one setting, or with a group of people. One-on-One Therapy is one of the most popular types of treatment. The purpose of the one-on-one dynamic between the therapist and the patient is to build rapport and work to discover the underlying issues that could be the root cause of the addiction.
